Peter is a Chartered Financial Planner, who brings almost a decade of experience advising clients and helping them build financial plans to live the lives they want, now and in the future.
Peter moved into Financial Planning after a successful career in software, taking the opportunity to take his favourite parts of his role, relationship building and problem solving, and combining them with his passion for helping people understand and manage their finances and money.
Peter’s approach to financial planning is to focus on what a good life looks like for you. Engaging in these conversations helps to uncover what you really want now and in the future. Often this can lead to possibilities you had never considered or thought of before.
This approach reflects Peter’s core belief that without a clear objective, goal or ambition, you are unlikely to engage with a plan and stick to it over the long term. Having that goal helps drive the behaviour required to achieve the life you want, and to do this in a meaningful way.
This philosophy stems from an interest in the psychology of money and how behaviour can be the make-or-break for someone’s financial future.
As a member of First Wealth’s Evolution Team and Investment Committee, Peter works across a wide range of areas in the business and brings this range of skills to working with clients from all walks of life and life stages. Business owners (growing and exited), professionals, sports people, retirees and anyone looking to get a clear vision for their financial future.
Maximising the most tax-efficient vehicle most people never fully use – from carry-forward and salary sacrifice to SIPP property purchase and beyond.
Ensuring clients have a clear plan for their retirement. Giving them peace of mind and helping them to really define what a good retirement looks like and putting this into action.
Helping athletes and media professionals turn a concentrated, time-limited earning window into long-term financial security that outlasts the career.
Turning the complexity of your financial life into a clear, visual picture – so you can make big decisions with confidence rather than guesswork.
It is about far more than tax efficiency. It’s about understanding your values, your intentions, and how best to transfer wealth, opportunity and security, both now and for future generations.
