As a Technical Analyst at First Wealth, Phoebe Ellis plays a vital role in delivering bespoke financial planning to our clients, combining technical expertise with a client-first attitude to help them build the future they want.
Phoebe joined First Wealth four years ago as a Client Relationship Manager and has progressed through the business since, earning her Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning from the Personal Finance Society along the way. In 2023 she was named Rising Star (non-advice) at the Women in Financial Advice Awards — recognition of the energy and care she brings to everything she’s involved in.
Outside of her core role, Phoebe likes to keep busy. She’s the B Corp leader, an active member of the First Wealth Women’s Network and Evolution Team – all part of her commitment to making financial services a more inclusive industry. She also helped create the Thrive Money education programme and has been vital in its growth, working to bridge the financial education gap for a community that now spans thousands.
Although Phoebe likes to spin a lot of plates, what she truly values about her role is getting stuck into clients’ situations and helping them reach the milestones and goals they’re working towards.
Getting stuck into your situation and treating it like my own. Building real relationships so the planning feels personal, not transactional.
Getting answers sorted quickly so clients aren’t left waiting. I like keeping things moving and making sure no question hangs around longer than it needs to.
Helping people feel confident about money. Through Thrive Money and beyond, I am passionate about bridging the gap so financial planning feels accessible to everyone.
Leading our Evolution Team’s B Corp work and making sure we keep doing business for good – not just talking about it.
I wanted to be a magician.
Stop selfishness.
My rice cooker, it is amazing!
The subtle art of not giving a f**k.
Finding good restaurants.
